Who is Emerson?

I am restless by nature, but I have found that to be a strength of mine. When I wake up early to make it to an interview, and stay up past dawn writing, editing, and rewriting I am in my element. Journalism keeps me on my toes which is part of my draw to it.

I have known I wanted to be a journalist ever since I was thirteen, sitting on the floor of the magazine section at Powells Books. I always adored reading about real people and listening to their stories. I am now pursuing a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Cinema Studies at the University of Oregon. I am a writer, photographer, videographer, and editor with an unbridled passion to give people a place to tell their stories.
